Title: Creative Lens Lab: Sports Photography and Videography for Content Creators
Description:
In this afterschool enrichment class, students in grades 2–8 will discover how to tell stories through the art of photography and videography. Combining creative exploration with digital tools, students will learn how to capture expressive sports images and short videos that reflect their imagination, perspective, and style.
Each session introduces key artistic concepts such as composition, lighting, and visual balance in age-appropriate, hands-on projects. Students will also explore editing and design techniques using platforms like Canva, CapCut, and Pixlr to enhance their creative work. The course encourages experimentation, collaboration, and critical thinking, helping students build both confidence and skill as young artists.
By the end of the program, each participant will create a digital portfolio showcasing their original photographs and short video projects—celebrating their growth as visual storytellers and content creators.
